Booking Fee & Payment

A £200 booking fee is required to secure the photoshoot. This fee covers scheduling, preparation, and reservation of time.

• The booking fee is transferable if the shoot is rescheduled with sufficient notice (see Section 2).

• If the shoot is cancelled less than 24 hours before the session, the booking fee is non-refundable.

The remaining balance is payable within 7 business days before image delivery, with payment on the day following the shoot preferred.

No full image gallery will be released until payment has been received in full.

Rescheduling, Weather & Light

Rescheduling is preferred where possible.

• If the shoot is rescheduled with at least 4 days’ notice, the booking fee will transfer to a new date, subject to availability.

• Interior photography is highly dependent on natural light and weather conditions. Where schedules allow, the Photographer and Client may agree to move the shoot to a brighter or more suitable day.

• Force majeure events (including illness, severe weather, transport disruption, or events beyond reasonable control) allow rescheduling without penalty. If the shoot start is delayed due to circumstances outside the Photographer’s control, coverage may be adjusted accordingly.

Image Delivery

• Final edited images will be delivered within 12 business days of the photoshoot.

  Expedited delivery is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

• Images are supplied as edited JPEG files, including:

  • 300dpi, print-ready images

  • Web-optimised versions

• Images are delivered via Google Photos or WeTransfer.

Unedited files, RAW files, and unused frames are not supplied.

The Photographer retains creative discretion over composition, lighting, colour treatment, and editing style, consistent with their portfolio and agreed brief. Standard post-production includes colour correction, exposure balancing, and overall image refinement. Extensive retouching, object removal, or compositing is not included unless agreed in advance. As photography is a creative service, subjective dissatisfaction does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Storage & Archiving

Backup copies of delivered images are retained for 12 months from the delivery date.
After this period, images could be permanently deleted unless extended storage is agreed in writing. Client data and image files are processed and stored in accordance with UK GDPR. Clients have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data.

Copyright & Usage Licence

Copyright in all images remains with the Photographer unless a copyright buyout is agreed in writing.

The Client is granted a non-exclusive, unlimited usage licence to use the images:

• online (websites, social media, digital publications), and

• in print (editorial and marketing materials).

Photo credit is required wherever practicable, formatted as:

Photo credit is required wherever practicable, including online use and printed publications where credits are customarily included. Where credit is omitted unintentionally, the Client agrees to correct this where reasonably possible once notified.

A full copyright buyout is available by separate agreement and fee.

Access & Readiness

The Client is responsible for ensuring the property is accessible, clean, styled, and ready at the agreed start time.
The Photographer is not responsible for reduced image quality or limited coverage resulting from incomplete preparation, restricted access, or delays outside their control. The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions (e.g. from property owners or subjects featured) for photography.

Third-Party Use & Re-Licensing

This licence applies only to the named Client.

Images may not be supplied, shared, sold, or licensed to third parties (including architects, furniture makers, developers, or PR agencies) without prior written consent from the Photographer.

Third parties wishing to use the images publicly must contact the Photographer directly to arrange a licence.

The Photographer may use images for portfolio, website, social media, awards, editorial features, and self-promotion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Liability

The Photographer will take reasonable care in providing the services.

The Photographer’s total liability for any claim arising from this agreement is limited to the total fees paid by the Client.
The Photographer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or missed opportunities.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Photographer and the Client.
Any amendments must be agreed in writing.

By booking a photoshoot, the Client agrees to the terms set out above.
